A Guide To Identify PM-WANI RELATED FRAUDS
We see, hear and observe the social media reporting many PMWANI PDOAs and companies are onboarding PDOs by making unethical promises. So, as one of the contributors to the PMWANI ecosystem, we thought to publish this guide for the PDOs in general.
Note: Our thoughts on this page are for general guidance only and it doesn’t aim towards hurting or defaming any particular PDOA or business entity. Every business entity or/and PDOA (aggregator) can have their own business model and pricing structure. PDOs can choose the services based on the offerings they are looking for. This is a general guideline to inform/educate the PDOs; individual PDOA offering could vary and PDOs are advised to choose their aggregator wisely.
Here are a few points to remember before signing up the agreement with a PDOA.

- Check whether the PDOA is Fully-Certified or not. PMWANI framework has certain specific requirements and certified PDOAs can provide reliable service.

- PDO’s are required to purchase Wi-Fi Router in consultation with certified PDOA and broadband / FTTH connection from TSP/ISP to start the service. Please verify the credentials of PDOA before finalizing any commercial arrangement with PDOA. Normally PDOs are not required to make any payment to PDOA except for the Wi-Fi router and some initial set up, installation and training charges.

If any aggregator demands a fee against a franchise scheme, then it could be their own business model and C-DOT or Technology Providers like us, have nothing to do with these business propositions driven by individual PDOAs.
